Lauren & Chris celebrated their wedding with family and friends on Saturday, the 7th of October at Die Woud just outside Caledon and Mr & Mrs M had the privilege of entertaining the newly weds’ guests during the photo hour.
We’ve made no secret about it that we love Die Woud and everytime we do a wedding there, we are reminded of the reasons why. The beautiful venue is nestled between oak trees and tall wattle forests with the stream flowing below and the birds chirping happily. The church is ‘open-air’ and guests are seated in between the trees. At the venue, crystal chandeliers hang from the roof of the all around glass building or if you prefer, you can dine in the open air under the stars.
Lauren & Chris had 4 games available for their guests to enjoy during the pre-drinks. Cornhole was a big competition starter among the guests and everybody was soon laughing around the giant jenga as they carefully pulled out their blocks of choice. Others had a go at boules and won by getting their silver balls closest to the jack. Some guests preferred to sit by the controlled fires and play a round of noughts & crosses while watching as the other guests jumped, shouted and laughed.
Thank you Lauren & Chris for allowing us to play a small role in your big day. We wish you many blessed and happy years together as husband and wife.
